Note: There will be a Leisure Camp cum Passing Out Ceremony in school from 11 June(Saturday) to 12 June (Sunday) from 7.30am (day 1) to 8pm (day 2). As this is the last training for the sec 4s, I strongly urge everyone to attend this camp and make it unique and memorable for the sec 4s.

The deadline for the submission of Lesson Plans/Proposals for your BOLT Camp has been extended to TUESDAY 28 SEP 2359 HOURS.
This is the new deadline for your Instructors to vet your proposals.
In other words, the CIs' deadline of 1 Oct still remains.

28 SEP 2359 hours: NCOs' DEADLINE
1 OCT 2359 hours: CIs' DEADLINE

There are still people who have not submitted their Lesson Plan/Proposals to the NCOs for vetting.

Everyone is expected to meet the new extended NCOs' deadline as you should have already done so by Sunday 26 Sep. There is no reason or excuse for anyone to miss the new deadline, and this is the LAST CHANCE.

18 September 2009 , Friday 2-5pm, School Uniform, Heritage Trail and Yellow Ribbon Exhibition for Sec 3 cadets. ATTENDANCE is COMPULSORY.Please bring cameras for resources for heritage write-up.

Calling more cadets (esp. for girls team) to volunteer to be part of the 2010 Campcraft Team. I don't think I can sleep until I get some things out of my chest. So here I am, typing this at 3a.m. in the morning.

To the Sec 4s:
Well, you guys are the first squad I have ever taken as a CI. I still remember the scoldings and punishments I gave to you when you did something wrong. Actually I was browsing through the reflections you guys did in Sec 1 just a few weeks ago and it made me think back on those hot afternoons 3 years ago. Pumpings, push-ups and more 'KNOCK IT DOWN!'. Throughout your NPCC journey, I'm sure there are tough times, especially when you get punishments from me, but there are also great times when you had lots of fun. The tough times were there to test your mettle and those who were not worthy have already been long gone. For those who proudly passed-out today, you are worthy. I really hope that you will think back on your time in NCHS NPCC fondly and remember the fun you had there. Good luck for your O levels. =)

p.s. If you want to take a look at your Sec 1 reflections, I still have them and I can show it to you. But no returning to you. It's for me to keep. =)

To the Sec 3s:
Hmmm... I still remember being your squad CI in-charge when you were in Sec 1. What can I say? I've seen you guys grow from blur cadets who can't even do their Sedia properly into NCOs today who are TEACHING others how to do Sedia. I think that there is still a lot of untapped potential in each of you, so do not think that you are NCOs now and you can stop learning. Instead, you should start learning more and at a faster speed now so that you can guide your juniors properly.

Anyway, thanks for the wonderful ceremony and the VERY OBVIOUS prank to make us think that we don't have gifts.

To the Sec 1s and Sec 2s:
I am sure that there is going to be much tougher times ahead of you, but like I told the Sec 4s, it is a test to test your worth. So my advice is, stay strong and grow into great leaders for the future generations.

To the CIs:
Thanks for being such a wonderful and dependable team. We will always be the best. I believe that you guys will inspire more people and lead the Unit to greater heights. =)

To the TOs:
Thanks for being so supportive of my crazy ideas and suggestions and for taking the effort to clear your schedules to help us conduct our trainings. =)

To the Unit:
Within each person, there is a seed of unbelievable potential. Whether to nurture that seed and let it bloom, or to neglect it and allow it to wither away is a choice that we all have to make. I believe that the CIs and TOs can bring the best out of you, so trust them, do as they say, and let them lead you to greater heights.

1. SI Nomination I would like to congratulate Yong Soon Lai and Low Jun Min for the promotion to Station Inspector rank. All three cadets nominted - SSGT Yong Soon Lai, SSGT Low Jun Min and SSGT Samuel Lee had performed very well during the interview with Area Commandant and Area OCs at North Vista Secondary School in April 2009.

3. June Activities and othersReminder to all cadets to attend all the courses dilligently. The courses are organised for the purpose of enriching cadets with NPCC knowledge and skills. For the Sec 3s, LMSC is a very important course that will give you the tools to be a good NCO, a skill that you should pass on to your juniors. For the Sec 1s and 2s; SANA, CD and RS courses provide knowledge that cannot be conducted in schools. Hence do not miss these activities and have fun at the same time!

The above mentioned courses are compulsory and only MCs and approved reasons are allowed for absence. Please see your respective TOs before the event if you have any difficulties. Do approach your seniors if you have other questions.

At the same time, do look forward to a fun-filling time during Leisure Camp! It's the only camp of the year when cadets do not need to do drills and more drills, just fun fun fun!!

Last but not least, congratulation to cadets on your promotions. To those who are not promoted yet, take this break to reflect and perform better for the next round of tests. I am confident that YOU CAN, once you put your heart in whatever tasks you need to do.

NPAP was a very intresting event..
The first step into HTA, people start talking to me.
and made new friends quickly.
The Drills was tiring but after training, i feel like continuing.
No.1 uniform is hard to put the buttons and stuff and its hot inside.
BUT its sooooo cooooooooooooooollllllll!!!
okay...
18 april(Yesterday) everyone was very worry if they did wrong.
hearts are beating, sweat is dripping.
Everyone says good luck & nice meeting you to each other..
OMG want to cry liao. boooooohhhoooooooooooo....
After the parade has ended. everyone shouted yahhoooooo...!
Everyone's Friend, Family, Sir/Mdm came by to congratulate everyone for a hard work done.
Everyone put in all their effort to make this parade a successful one..

Then went to HARMONY HALL and eat.. yum yum.. alot of yummy food...
Fall in back at Drill Shed and Its time to go.. =( worst part of it...
Most of the people wanna extent the training session..
Anyway.. Hope everyone had fun during NPAP...

On our way to HTA we almost met an accident... phew... almost crash to a large vehical... phew phew phew .... tzu chia fell of his seat... his not even standing uh... wow... tat large vehical suddenly stop... bus driver faster turn right to lane 2.... lucky no car! if not big big big problem... and may cause road block...
Things may happen Anytime, Any Place & Anywhere... Nobody knows you may be lucky or not...

Ayah jus thought of contributing to tis blog lah.

Tis coming wk got tis 3 npcc events:
-Npcc Sec 3 Shooting
-Sch anniversary parade
-NPAP parade
These 3 events arh pratice n train very hard for it orh so arh u all mus do well for it.

The shooting the sec 3 have gone throught boring dry shootings n onli 1 short trial shoot so u all mus like shoot properly and get the badge

Let me add in something bout the sch parade. u all arh the arm nv lock while marching cause always bend the arm when marching i noe dat many of u very sian bout the sch parade but jus take it as it come

Also the NPAP parade finally coming after so much hard work 2/3 more training onli so work hard to those nchs n area7 NPAP frenz

And one last thing, no matter how life seems to be so difficult,
It is a beautiful world.

Regarding School anniversary rehersal parade

Alamak!
The drills.... cannot lah...
hmmm... i point out SOME mistakes... coz i dun tink i can rmb all..

Most common and can be seen easily...
1. your hand swing...
not 90-45 eh..
giv you a hint kay... put all your hand weight to your fist okay... like a ball bearing
release it and relax let it swing.. its the easiest way and not tiring..
i can tell tat u guys are trying to pull back by using force... but since it doesnt work use my method... it may help..

2. dressing..
no other option for me but to glance or rmb th spacing how far apart from the front person.
keep your speed constant, not too big not too small but your normal walking speed..
watch your timing.. if can coordinate well you can say the timing softly..

3. Drills
Sedi ya and sernandiri
common drills you should know 90 degrees..

You Guys Can Do It De... Put Alil bit Of Effort...
Can tell some are not intrested in this parade but just be considerate.. kay..

hmmm the whole day very embarrassing and fun sia with SJC and punggol sec.. bond very well... NPAP outing...

went to plaza sing arcard, no money no POSB bank thn take mrt go vivo and harbour front... hmm went to arcarde play game...

i play time crisis 2 (gun game) 1 token last til half the game done hah... v long worhx... i pro on gun game

thn went to play bball score 221 lvl3 play bball again score 221 again haizz. haha expect more... but hand very tired.. yup.. continuous throwing.. =)

went to walk walk talk play play go in shop out blah blah...

thn eat at pizza hut... 73$ lols haha GST sia should tell me earlier i pull u guys to another place and eat... was wondering GST? Quickly self service if not GST leh haha...

Aaaaaaa……We had a lot of fun and I wish we will be together forever and ever.
Wei qi is so funny, Han Loong looks so quiet but we are normal ha-ha.
We had gone to the “TIME-ZONE” we had a lot of fun over there we went to play the basketball game, Wei qi 2 time 221, after that we fell hungry Then we gone to the “PIZZA HAT”♥♥♥. On the way to PIZZA HAT, we played the playground and we have a lot of thing happen aaa…too many, ask wei qi if you wan to know, we ate $73.00 at pizza hat and I make us laugh over there, because me and wei qi ate all the cheese there …………… we have a lot of fun wish we can do this ones more time….anyway is good to be together.

fun day! me, jaslin and han loong met up first as weiqi and yisheng were late so we went to the arcade in plaza sing.

jaslin wanted to draw money cos she was broke but unfortunately, plaza sing no posb so when yisheng and weiqi arrived, we went to vivo.

and that was when all the retarded stuff started to happen=D went arcade again (weiqi's good at the shooting game).

then, everybody hungry so we went to find a place to eat, bypassing this playground where jaslin and yisheng 'played' with the little kids.

so many people were staring at us.JASLIN!! you are so funny!! hahahahaha.

so. pizza hut. wow. expensive.

after that, we just walked around and around and around, laughing and crapping all the way=D loved it =D han loong was so quiet, the rest of us kept turning around and saying " eh? where's han loong? where's han loong? ...oh, there."

hahaha!oh yeah! went to toys'r'us where we played with the soft toys and and jaslin dressed up. omg!! so funny lah! =D super fun! eh guys, lets go out more=D

It was very really err bad... coz wearing no.1 the holder cant stay still yeah.. thn got problem doing rusok lo.. sir scold th GOH flag for not doing well.. We are still getting use to our no.1, feel wrong when sir scold us coz is our first time ba..

Rifles...
Wearing the gloves is hard when doing rifle drills coz very slippery.

No.1 uniform
it is very cool but the toppings(button etc.) wasnt easy... hard to button up and easily drop of.. after th 1st dry run, we went for our 2nd dry run, i found tat the ground is very shinny becoz there is alot button on th ground hah... funny..

Phew... damn tired after the full dress rehearsal. x.x But then we had a lot of fun after that. We were on the bus, crapping, shouting everywhere. Haha. "Sakura!", "Northpoint- Jap food court!", "Curry fish head!" LOL! But in the end, we still went to the food court in compass point for lunch, also partly because it was raining. =.= We (Weiqi, Jaslin, Joleen, Dionis, Qin Lin, Yisheng, Keith, Alicia, Afrah and Han Loong) went to the arcade after that. Haha. Took neoprints and played the car games and also the feedy thing.

After all this... we can call it a day liao... phew.. but still some of us still has loads of homework to do yeah haha
